The practice has been owned by the Vendor for 30 years, he started as an associate in the practice prior to purchasing.  Current staff includes 3 part-time associates and 2 dental hygienists who provide 8 days of preventive services.  There are approximately 1600 patients attending the practice and last year there were over 2,500 hygiene appointments.  The practice provides most services, including surgery, but refers out orthodontics and re-treats for endodontic treatment.

With a key location in an indoor mall, the practice is not open on weekends, but this could easily be scheduled.

Year-end July 2023 reported revenue over 1.3M and has been relatively steady since 2020.   The current year is on track to meet similar milestones.  Cash earnings to the Vendor are extremely attractive at 47%.  Cashflow to a new buyer is $315,000 while servicing the debt.

The practice was renovated in 2014 and consists of 6 fully equipped operatories plus 2 additional ones that are plumbed and wired.  The 2,260 sq ft suite consists of stericentre, laboratory, private office, manager’s office, and staffroom.  Radiographs are digitally saved, and patient charts are paperless.

The Premise Lease has been re-negotiated and includes a new 10-year term with one 5-year renewal.

The Vendor will assist in the transition of the sale at a reduced schedule.
