In 2004 Robert MacDonald, grandson of the founder of ROI Corporation, Roy Brown, began an anticipated long term association with ROI Corporation.
From his boyhood beginnings in the photocopy room, Robert has worked and gained experience in every facet of the company. After graduating with a Political Science degree from Brock University, Robert found his niche in dental practice sales for ROI Corporation.
Marketing, Sales, and Negotiation are his areas of expertise and he sums up his position as “My goal is to get the best result for my client.”
Robert has lectured for the University of Western and University of Toronto. He has also given seminars in British Columbia, Alberta, and Ontario and internationally in the Bahamas.
In his spare time he enjoys staying active with running, squash, sailing, badminton, rugby, and his mainstay, hockey. My large and extended family is a major part of my life and most of my best times have been with them.

Robert is licensed under The Real Estate and Business Brokerage Act and continually upgrades his knowledge base by attending many dental seminars and conventions. He also voluntarily completed the Ethics and Business Practice course from the Real Estate Institute of Canada.
Lance Edwards is a Registered Optician with 39 years experience who works with eye care
professionals (ECPs) who are ready for their practices to be appraised, marketed and sold to the
next caring owner. He believes that the hard work of all ECPs can be monetized by the services
of a professional healthcare business broker.
Lance has started, managed, grown and sold 3 offices. His last office was appraised, marketed

Bill joined ROI Corporation in 2007 and is one of our Senior Sales Representatives. With over $63 million in practice sales over the past 5 years, this averages almost 1 sale closed per month.
He grew up in London, Ontario and graduated from UWO. Subsequently, he had a long career in finance and international banking, having lived in the UK, Philippines, Honk Kong and Bahrain. After returning to Canada, and prior to joining ROI Corporation, Bill partnered with a Medical Doctor to produce and distribute print and video training materials for doctors and nurses. Among his other accomplishments he also owned an x-ray and ultrasound clinic in London, Ontario.

Ann Wright is proud of her 40 plus year career in the dental profession and has over 20 years as a Senior Associate with ROI Corporation. Ann graduated from the University of Toronto in Dental Hygiene in 1971 and completed an MBA at the University of Ottawa in 1995. She has held numerous positions throughout her career, as practitioner, examiner and clinical demonstrator, in practice management consulting and in senior association positions. She has a strong track record in business development, operations, staff management, client relations and cost reduction strategies and has spoken at national conventions and at local oral health meetings. Ann’s education and background, coupled with her experience in practice appraisal and transitions, and her familiarity with the Ottawa and eastern Ontario gives her a comprehensive set of skills. In addition, she has numerous contacts in the financing, legal and accounting community, which enable her to facilitate successful practice transitions.
Alexis was immersed in the dental profession at a very young age, as both of her parents are dentists. Over the years, her involvement in their practice grew to eventually aiding her parents in the transition of selling, purchasing and building a practice from scratch. Her passion for the business of dentistry continued to flourish as she worked as a receptionist throughout her high school education and in her summers off while completing her Honours Bachelor of Commerce Degree at the University of Guelph. ROI Corporation played a large role in the major transitioning milestones in her parent’s dental careers and Alexis grew intrigued with the company. Alexis completed her Ontario Real Estate license in 2014, subsequently joining ROI Corporation in January of 2015. She wishes to utilize her lifelong passion and personal experiences in the dental profession to gain a further understanding of the customized needs of each individual client, treating every practice as if it were her family’s.
